BrailleBlaster

BrailleBlaster is a free, open-source braille transcription software to assist transcribers in creating high-quality textbooks for visually impaired students. It supports importing NIMAS files, automates formatting tasks, offers side-by-side views of print and braille, and manages both literary (UEB/EBAE) and math braille. The program uses Liblouis for braille translation and includes features such as image description, automatic table of contents creation, glossary support, and tactile graphics.
