Welcome to Iberia, a text-based MUD where history becomes an arena for your decisions, battles, and alliances. You will be transported to the Iberian Peninsula in the 2nd century BCE, at the height of a ruthless war between Roman legions and proud Lusitanians. After betrayal, deceit, and massacres in peaceful villages, a popular uprising begins under the leadership of the legendary Viriathus.

In this world, there are no template heroes, only you, your will, and the path you choose. There are no classes or levels; progression comes through dozens of skills, letting you become a master of combat, a strategist, a craftsman, or a spy. Each of the eight ethnic groups has its own language, culture, and place in history. Whether you want to be a Roman soldier, a Celtiberian hunter, or an eastern merchant, it all depends on your decisions.

The combat system is tough and tactical: hit zones, fighting styles, fatigue, and wounds all play a key role. If you seek more, you can raise armies, command battles for territory, build forts, participate in gladiatorial duels, and leave your mark on the game’s chronicles.
