On the edge of the world, in lands hidden from the eyes of civilization, an invasion begins. In Eldermyth, you’re not just defending an island — you become its guardian spirit. This mobile turn-based strategy game in the Broughlike subgenre is inspired by the works of Michael Brough and conceptually reminiscent of Spirit Island, yet it follows its own path: short, intense, and unforgiving.
You will take control of one of four mystical beasts — each with a unique set of abilities and distinct playstyle: one strikes fast and aggressively, another fights from a distance, the third excels at controlling territory, and the fourth relies on cunning and patience.
Your choice of beast defines your playstyle — from direct assaults to subtle strategic maneuvers. The island is alive: its climate shifts, the terrain shapes your tactics, and the invaders never rest. There are four types of enemies, each with unique behavior, but they all share the same goal: to establish colonies, plunder resources, and exploit the captured land.
The game board consists of 20 tiles, randomly generated with each run. No hints — just you, your beast, and the invaders. However, if you’d like to understand the mechanics more quickly, the game includes a detailed guide. It’s especially recommended for blind players, as it helps form a clear mental map of what’s happening.
Eldermyth is a game where you learn to fight for peace — tile by tile, step by step. It’s not about victory. It’s about resistance.
