Coffee Talk is a warm, almost intimate atmosphere of a late-night café where every visit turns into a story of its own.

You play as the barista of a cozy establishment that stays open long past midnight. People, elves, mermaids, orcs, and other inhabitants of an unusual modern world come here. Each of them has their own worries, dreams, and hidden hopes, and it’s up to you to listen, prepare the right drink, and perhaps influence the course of their lives. This is a deep communication simulator.

The gameplay revolves around conversations and preparing drinks from dozens of ingredients. A correctly chosen recipe can change a guest’s mood and reveal a new side of their story. Your goal is not simply to pass levels but to create a space of trust where characters open up through dialogue. This unhurried mechanic gives a sense of involvement and leaves room to reflect on the power of words and empathy.

Coffee Talk is a cozy late-night conversation where you become the person people seek out for understanding and advice. Every new interaction shows that even a small cup of a hot drink can be the beginning of a big change.

Accessibility

Despite its visual style, the game is accessible to blind players. This is made possible by its structured text presentation, relaxed pacing, and support for third-party mods that provide speech output.

The game does not include built-in voiceover, but atmospheric ambient sounds provide good auditory feedback. Important: The first language selection screen is not voiced, so upon launching you must either press Enter blindly, or press the Down Arrow once and then Enter to confirm the language — you can change it later in the settings.

The accessibility mod copies dialogue text to the clipboard, so you will need the Autoclip add-on for NVDA or another reading tool. Most lines are read correctly, though occasionally short lines do not play automatically; in such cases, the R key helps by rereading the current window. The mod is stable, but behavior may differ in other versions.

The drink-making menu remains hard to navigate: the buttons are fixed, but the actions behind them do not always match the labels. In addition, the recipes in the mobile phone menu are inaccessible, and this issue cannot currently be bypassed.

Installing the Mod

  • Wait for MelonLoader to finish installing. A Mods folder should appear in the game directory.
