The story begins in the cozy atmosphere of a literature club: warm conversations, poetry, and the calm surface of everyday school life. At first glance, it seems like an ordinary visual novel, but beneath this tranquil exterior lies a very different kind of experience. What awaits you is a psychological thriller that uses the very structure of a visual novel as a tool for rising tension, gradually pushing the narrative beyond traditional storytelling.

For blind players, the game’s text-driven foundation is especially valuable, allowing its key events to be conveyed without relying on visual elements. There’s no need for quick reactions or complex visual cues—the tension grows from words, pauses, and the things left unsaid. Emotional depth and metanarrative techniques give the story multiple layers.

Gameplay revolves around reading, choosing dialogue options, and creating your own poems, which influence your relationships with the heroines. But as the story progresses, the familiar rules begin to change: the plot subverts expectations, the interface becomes part of the narrative, and the game itself starts reacting to your decisions. The contrast between the seemingly romantic atmosphere and the growing sense of unease creates a unique sense of presence, where every action may lead to unexpected consequences.

If you’re looking for a game that gradually breaks its own boundaries, plays with perception, and lingers in your mind long after it ends, this visual novel is one of the most unusual journeys available in a text-focused format. It unfolds slowly but powerfully, leaving a lasting impression and inviting you to reinterpret everything you’ve experienced—now from a new angle.

Accessibility

A modification created by community member LordLuceus greatly expands accessibility for blind players and unlocks nearly all content, including bonus materials. Thanks to this mod, the poetry minigame announces which character likes the chosen word, all special poems from Act 2 become available, and both the virtual desktop and in-game email function properly. The gallery and music player are supported as well, and every gallery image includes a detailed description generated by a neural network.

Installing the Modification

The mod works reliably only with the licensed Steam version of the game—other builds may cause errors. The text is copied to the clipboard, so you’ll need a tool for automatic reading; NVDA users can rely on the Autoclip add-on. Detailed instructions and download links are available on the mod’s website, though access can sometimes be unstable, requiring the page to be refreshed until it loads.
