The story flows with time rather than standing still: the world evolves through eras (each lasting from a year and a half to two years), bringing new wars, alliances, and revolutions. Today you might find yourself tangled in Imperial intrigues; tomorrow you could witness the birth of the Resistance or rise as the leader of a corporate clan.

You choose your own path. Over a hundred races let you explore a wide range of personalities and abilities — from the stubborn Wookiee to the cunning Twi’lek or the cold-blooded Hutt. The class system allows you to find your place: soldier, smuggler, engineer, bounty hunter — and with rare luck, you may awaken to the Force, beginning your journey from an apprentice’s training to forging your very own lightsaber.

The true power of Legends of the Jedi lies in its mechanics, which give the text world both depth and tangibility. You can pilot starships and command entire fleets in three-dimensional space, fight in space and on planets, craft weapons and technology, trade, and build an economic empire. Every blaster shot and every deal has consequences. Your character’s fate is not determined by a script — it depends on your decisions and your skill at role-playing.

MSP Sound Support

Legends of the Jedi supports the Mud Sound Protocol (MSP), allowing you to enable in-game sound effects when playing through compatible MUD clients. The sound library is constantly expanding, though not yet complete.

Please note: at this time, the feature is limited — the sound pack could not be activated in VipMud 2. We recommend using other compatible clients to experience sound effects.
