WHOeyes is a free mobile app that tests both distance and near visual acuity and is suitable for anyone aged 8 and above.
WHOeyes is based on the same principles used by ophthalmologists when testing your vision with a standard eye chart in clinical settings. Its accuracy has been validated in three scientific studies.
The app does not replace the need for regular eye examinations by a professional, even if your vision appears to be good. The World Health Organization and the app developers are not responsible for any inaccurate results.
WHOeyes is compatible with Android 8.0 and later, and requires a screen size of 5.5 inches or larger
