The world of Nightmist Online is a MUD adventure where every decision you make leaves a mark on history. Here, it’s just you, your imagination, and a world created for players who value authentic role-playing experiences.

You’re in for old-school fantasy gameplay with a unique atmosphere: thousands of rooms, countless dungeons, items, and creatures. Explore the ruins of forgotten civilizations, storm demon lairs, hunt for artifacts, or fight in city streets — the world of Nightmist is alive and unforgiving.

Create your character by choosing one of seven races — from Dwarf to Half-Orc or Halfling — and master the path of one of nine classes: become a blade master, a mysterious mage, a cunning rogue, or a noble paladin. Each race and class shapes your tactics, combat skills, and playstyle in its own unique way.

Choose one of the two servers that best suits your playstyle:

• On the Single-Alt server, you play as a single hero, where tactics, allies, and a trusty sword decide your fate.
• On the Multi-Alt server, command a squad of up to 20 characters and prove yourself a commander worthy of ancient legends.

Nightmist doesn’t forgive mistakes, but it generously rewards those who know how to think, explore, and conquer.

Note: The game uses a custom Windows client with graphical interface elements. Unfortunately, in its current form, the client is largely inaccessible to screen reader users. Moreover, registration is only possible through the client, and the account creation interface contains non-functional controls. Hopefully, the developers will address accessibility improvements and make the necessary changes in the future.
