LegendMUD is a text-based online RPG where history, myth, and your imagination come together to shape a dynamic, ever-changing world.
Immerse yourself in a world divided into three eras — the Ancient, Medieval, and Industrial — each filled with unique cultures and events. There are no traditional classes here: instead, you choose a “hometown”, which determines your available skills and playstyle. The unique magic system is based on combining words from Latin and Sanskrit. To cast spells, players must first learn the appropriate words and then combine them correctly.
Rather than standard quests, you’ll experience true adventures — with historical parallels and branching storylines. Every area in the game blends real historical elements with the myths and beliefs of its time. Roleplay, clans, customizable player housing, and a mood/emotion system enable deep social interaction and personal expression.
