This is the first installment in the series accessible to totally blind players, featuring the adventures of Kratos and his son Atreus. The project captivates with its epic story, addressing father-son relationships, the value of friendship, and the challenges of growing up and self-acceptance.

The game is a slasher with RPG elements, offering an interesting and complex combat system. It also features a robust character development system, skill upgrades, equipment crafting, and various collectibles.

Besides the main storyline, there are numerous side quests in an open world (or rather, multiple worlds).

The sound design and musical score are top-notch, with the game’s soundtracks becoming a staple in my playlist.

The game’s accessibility is almost excellent but has a few nuances. The screen reader does not read all menus, and there can be bugs in the navigation system for blind players. Some puzzles are not immediately obvious, often requiring a quick search on Google for solutions.

Despite these issues, the developers have done a tremendous job ensuring the game is accessible to as many people with disabilities as possible. As a totally blind player, I managed to complete the story and a significant number of side quests with minimal assistance. With a bit more patience, I believe I could have finished the game entirely on my own.

I highly recommend this masterpiece.
